ISLAMABAD, Aug 23 (APP):Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Barrister Aqeel Malik on Friday said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)s’ negative strategy for August 22, public meeting had disappointed the party workers.
The PTI leaders cancelled the public meeting on August 22, at eleventh hour that has badly frustrated the party workers, he said while talking to a private television channel.
He said the people didn’t pay attention to the call of PTI leaders for public meeting due to bad planning and decision of Imran Khan for May 9.
May 9, was very unfortunate incident in the history of this country, he said adding that PTI has committed crime after attacking security institutions.
The PTI leadership is wasting time of the nation by using different tactics on many occasions, he observed.
Reply to a question about the trial of PTI founder in military courts, he said the PTI leaders had found involved in damaging security installations on May 9, and this is a severe violation of army act.
He was of the opinion that PTI chief’s trial should be held in the military courts so that no one in future could dare to make planning against the security institutions of the country.
